Pistol gripped Svt-40 stock

Just cut up the original stock. Make sure to cut the barrel back too and refinish it with desert tan armacote.

Simply put, they are only cheap in Canada. In the US and other countries they are a fair bit more expensive (1000 and up). People don't buy a 1000 milsurp to change the stock out on it/make it tacticool, they buy a 1000 dollar milsurp to collect it. If they wanted to make a tacticool gun they would just buy a AK or a AR because there better options for the price in places like the States.

"...why is there no aftermarket stock options..." No demand. There are very few SVT's, Stateside. Hence, there's no demand for aftermarket stuff.
"...with something tactical..." Every battle rifle comes with a "tactical" stock. There's nothing "tactical" about synthetic stocks either.
"...there are countless kits for..." Those kits are made for the M1A, not the M305. You need to think in terms of what is in demand Stateside.

The only thing I would like to see is a heavier stock made of nice wood to get rid of some of that wobble when you shoot...Kind of a nice heavy bench rest type stock. No mall ninja stuff for me tho!

Thank you. What the hell does a black plastic stock have to do with tactics? I guess when I was humping an FN C1 around we were'nt tacticool.

You were actually so tacticool you didn't even know it.

Leave these classics alone in my opinion. They work damn well just the way they are and everyone who goes bubba on em is going to regret it down the road when they dry up.

You need an AVT stock. Some come refurbished with one. AVT was the full-auto version of the SVT used limitedly in WWII, if your stock has another hole on the opposite side the safety latch moves to then it's an AVT stock. It's featured in the videogame "Heroes of Stalingrad 2"
