I have been using Break Free CLP and it seems to work pretty good except I noticed when I go at a match and shoot, it seems to collect a lot of grime.

Does anybody use better stuff? Ive been suggested to use Mobil 1 synthetic oil but I dont know?

break free is the best stuff. don't let anyone tell you otherwise, they're all liars!

i have 5 gallons of break free, i use it for everything - and I mean EVERYTHING, lovemaking, bicycle chain, guns, fridge door...

good ol' brownells ! you can get it by the gallon, liter, etc..

love brownells

No shipping restrictions? The last time I tried ordering chemicals (parkarizing solution) from Brownells they struck it from the order claiming the shipping charges would be excessive.

i had ordered a whole lot of stuff from brownells, usually just split up the shipping. and with gun parts I really got hit with shipping charges because of that $100/order BS importing parts into Canada :(

wanna sell me some lol?

pizdets, I'm saving it for SHTF days, you never know what you have to lube in a disaster scenario lol

my wife loves your username by the way, she says it's a very very nasty word in russian ;)

pizdets lol remember when I came to drop off that ammo? i told her "Honey I have to go deliver some ammunition to pizdets, i'll be back soon" she was laughing hard.

hahaha I bet. How bout like 16oz?

i use kerosene to clean (won't cause rust like water could, no need to dry it since it'll evaporate on its own), and 75W90 synth gear oil as lube oil. i once tried synth grease but it's too tacky and collects the powder / smoke and whatnot.

Hoppes#9 to clean and synthetic gun oil to lube. This is how I treat my duty pistol and it sees 100's if not 1000's of rounds per year (yes, I actually do practice with my duty guns) and I have never had a jam. I do re-lube regularly as carrying a gun in a holster with the barrel pointing down all the time causes a good synthetic lube to run off a bit.

Hoppe's Elite for cleaning solvent, automotive grease for slide/barrel, any old gun oil for lockwork.

i'm guessing Mastercraft plain wheel bearing grease, which is probably black moly stuff (same as used on CV joints).

hmm, i've got a tube of ViperLube that i might try....

To clean I use MPRO7 and occasionally Wipeout which does take out some slight copper residue after lots of rounds.

to Lubricate I use Weaponshield (ordered from US), which is the improved version of FP10/MP10 that at one time was offered by Shooter's Choice. This stuff is really good and smells like Cinnamon.

I will use Wilson's lithium grease or weaponshield grease for more heavy lubrication needs.

I have found the Hoppe's elite lubricant is very clean and odorless but not as viscous as weaponshield.
