What have you guys put on your pistols? C'mon, let's see em!

Feel free to tell us why you chose the device you did, where you got it, and any sort of performance difference you may have noticed! ... And whether or not you had to change out the guide rod and recoil spring in you firearm (please).

After I clean the change outta the couch a few times, I should be able to buy one!

 *eagerly awaiting some pics*

Of course you need to change a few things. Keep in mind it is almost always better to just buy the gun model that is designed with the compensator.

Yes, a can would be the ultimate muzzle device!

Yeah, like those compensators! I have a Walther PPQ navy on the way (threaded barrel) and want to utilize these threads somehow. Maybe just a simple lightweight flash hider

Unknown brand "Scorpion" compensator on my project Norc .45 Sport.

Have not fired it since install less than a month ago so cannot speak for its performance, but I'll be totally honest I bought it just cause I love the look of a comped 1911.

Any slight performance gains are a nice bonus but as is it is extra weight at the end of the muzzle. (On top of good instruction from a pro.)

Here's a Norinco 1911 with a comp. It's supposed to slow down the slide when shooting hot loads (460 Rowland, 230 grain @1350 fps). I haven't taken it off to see how effective it is, but it shoots impressive fireballs out the top.

Hmm the images didn't work in my other post they should work now. Here are a couple guns I have back in the casa in VA with cans and comps: Beretta Model 71 with SiCo Sparrow, Glock 21 with AAC EVO 45, HK45 CT with TiRant 45 and A Roland Special G19 with KKM Comp.

22 time!
couple years back i picked up the 22/45 Lite golden gun when it first hit Canada, just had to have it.
spent some time and did some searching and had this comp made down in the states buy a fella who was just getting started, now his company has boomed.
its strictly for looks of course.

for comparison i put this TacSol comp on my dads 22/45 Lite just last month, it can be picked up here in Canada with little to no problem.

460 Rowland kit comes with a comp, first one ive shot with a center fire, must admit im impressed.
im kinda interested to pick up a couple for my normal 1911's.
mostly for aesthetics of course.

where you all got your compensators? I am tempted to get a LWD Compensator 45 .578 x 28 for my glock 30S(with threaded barrel), but couldn't find it anywhere in stock. Questar has to special order with no ETA.
