One question I do have would be,.

What pistol or pistols use the 10 round AR mag for the mag to be legal in Canada..

Please mods dont ban me,

It's called the LAR.

You might like it, but you'd probably have more fun shooting a traditional pistol, or even a revolver.

just so you know you don't need to own the pistol to own and use LAR mags. that's what it sounds like your after from your post.

Are you looking for a 223 'pistol' or just the looking at using the mags in an AR or other rifle? If it's the latter, you don't need to own the pistol to use the mags - under the law, it's enough that the pistol is "readily available" in Canada. As far as other 10 round mags go, all pistols come with 10 rounders. The advice directly above (Glock 17, Sig, M&P9 etc, etc) is excellent, all of those pistols are good quality, though some such as the Glock and M&P are easier to shoot well. Welcome to the world of retricted firearms!

As always guys thanks for the info, fast and to the point!!

I already have the 10 round mags thats why I was inquiring. As neat as the LAR and the Robinson look,it seem like somthing I already have minus the butt stock. That being said its looks like I will be leaning more toward a traditional pistol.

Now I think I will do a little search on the forum to see the best bang for my buck as far as a 9mm would go.

again thx..
