How does it work? Order a whole pistol from us and you guys supply everything but the registered part?
Yes that is correct, we will retain the serialized part or the part that is prohibited from entering Canada and send you everything else including the case. For Sig products we will not be removing the parts from within the FCU, the complete FCU will not be exported. If you order a pistol with a non compliant barrel it will have to stay in the US as well.

There is no kits link, you just order the pistol you like and they keep the prohibited parts and send you all the rest. For example you order a Glock 17 at full price and you get everything except the lower frame.

Can someone explain to me WHY anyone would order a handgun parts kit? That is a lot of money for a few spare parts .... most of which you will never need.
Well I mean you just not own any P320s because these “part kits” are entire new guns for me. I have multiple FCU already pre ban, several retailers sold just the FCU in anticipation for all the chassis and other makes and models you can drop it into. I can shoot various different calibres as well.

I think it is intended for people that have a stripped frame/receiver. I have a friend that has a registered stripped 1911 frame. This would be a way of getting all the parts necessary to build a complete, functioning pistol. That is how I'm reading it; maybe I'm wrong.

I did it for my TX-22 a few months back because I wanted an optic ready slide and already have a frame. Now I have a complete set of spare parts, two slides and some extra mags.
