Nice. I ordered one before the freeze. How do you like it and does the Apex trigger upgrade make much of a difference. Looking forward to getting mine. I also bought a Walther PDP 4.5

I don’t own this pistol any more but I found the Apex to be a worthwhile upgrade. Mine originally had the old-style trigger and was pretty good on its own.

My brand new, never fired Glock 17 Gen4 patiently waiting for its registration certificate. In the mean time, I’ve added a SureFire X300 and a Strike Industries Mass Driver comp.

My Beretta 92s transfer went through today (almost 5 months)!
She was so dry, so I took her apart, applied Lucas gun oil, changed the grips, and now she's ready! (I wiped off the excess oil!)

Thanks for the kind words, koldt. I used to use a home-made light box made out an old laundry basket and some desk lamps and while that worked OK it was a bit of a pain to set up. For the last few years I've taken most of my pictures just out on my back deck. I wait for a day with a high overcast sky—lots of light but no shadows—and I use a piece of while Bristol board for the background. I overexpose a bit and I always use a tripod with the delayed shutter release. I usually don't do a lot of editing afterwards, usually just changing the brightness and contrast to make the whites brighter and darks a little deeper, increasing the sharpness and maybe editing out dust and scratches (not for my EE pix, though—they show everything, blemishes and all ). Now and then for stainless guns or nicely blued I will use my daughter's piano bench as the backdrop (like the Python and B76 pics below).
