Pistol primers at a decent cost.

OP, I can't agree with you enough about purchasing in quantity. Especially if the quantity is all of the same lot number. I usually purchase primers by the full box of 5000 or 5x1000 sleeves per box. When purchasing like that at a local gun shop they will normally give you a discount that will at least cover the taxes.

WSS and Cabelas are great stores but the local gun shops are our bread and butter. This is where the small shops have the advantage over the big chain stores.

Yeah i fully agree, just lately they don't have the stock or supply to give the discounts that they use to.

thinking of a few thousand sr frm canada ammo while they still have stock.

Wow, just the opposite in Edmonton. The local gun shops charge 10 - 20 % more than WSS and no discount on quantity for primers. Powder is about the same price.

Locally Winchester and federal are around $45 per thousand. The Canadian Tire on Leila in Winnipeg carries S & B small pistol and rifle, large pistol and rifle for $40 per thousand.

You guys out west are getting hosed.
I just bought 5,000 CCI #400 SR primers for $165 or $33/1,000.

Maybe you stores have old stock, wait till they have to buy at 2016 prices.

I was thinking of another 10k of SR from Canada Ammo, but not sure if I need any more.

Have about 25k of SP & LP here right now.

Just need a deal on projectiles, maybe I'll get some Albertans together and do a group order from WaspMunitions, as they offered me a couple nice discounts on quantities of 5k or more
