Pistol scope

I have a TC Contender 30-30 with a 10" barrel that I want to put a scope on. Would anyone know who sells a reasonably priced pistol scope that will take a bit of recoil and with decent optics ?? I would like to find something in the $200 range.

I did some research last night and the after reading the reviews, it looks like I'll be saving up for a Leupold VX-3

I find the eye relief much better with the Weaver (near twice the VX-3) and it's weight is lighter.

I have an FX-II 4-28mm on a Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter (44mag) and it seems to be holding up quite well to the recoil. Optics are crisp and clear. Brighter than I thought it would be for a 28mm obj. I picked the FX-II because I felt 18" of eye relief would suit me best and the Leupold hassle free warranty isn't a bad thing to have on a scope that rides on top of a heavy recoiling revolver. Not sure what Weaver warranty is like or how robust they are...
