Great videos.

Just a word of advice. The guy shooting the Glock 22 (red shirt) needs to learn how to draw from the holster. He was sweeping his left hand on the draw which besides being enough to get you thrown off a range, is extremely dangerous.

He should make sure that the holster is secured to his waist tightly enough so that he does not need to use his left hand to stabilize the holster. Then draw with the right hand by lifting the pistol vertically with the right hand, trigger finger clear of the trigger.

As you point the pistol forward, bring your left hand under the pistol and grip it from there. At no point should you sweep any part of your body.

You could argue that it was OK since the trigger finger was clear of the trigger (cannot see from the video). But when you have someone who clearly has not been properly trained to draw from a holster drawing a hot gun quickly for the camera and he sweeps part of his body, then you have an accident waiting to happen.

I don't mean to flame you, but your friend should be aware of this in the future.

I downloaded the first too, when I was downloading the second to I had to disconect the internet so I didn't finish downloading the videos. When I tried again I got the broked icon image (I'm conected now) what's going on? I want to see the flame on the DE :?

What would we do without safety crats .

never mind...I got it :)

that is pretty sweet, I guess there is a good reason why I use H110 for my .44mag :p... I would like to see how far the flame would go though...

btw I loaded some .44mag with 30gr of H110 (behind 180gr bullet) should put on quite a show :)

Complaining when someone posts a pic with their hand on the trigger, or when there is a loaded mag next to a gun when people are down range may qualify. But pointing out when someone is sweeping their body is not. It is a useful observation that we have all needed to learn. I suppose nobody should point it out so that they are not called 'crats' and then laugh at the next video when he AD's.

OK, I'll join the fray...

1st video, person shotting the CZ, once finished shooting, turns to look at person shooting the video, notice the muzzle direction? Since were nit picking...

Also, we were trained (military) to call them NDs, Negligent Dishcharges, since unless some mechnical malfunction, occur out of negligence....

How were your goupings after that barrage of lead?

Thanks explanation safety guy .

Well I would not mind getting feedback. If you want to be picky then having the finger on trigger while blowing out the smoke would be a dumb move. Call that sweeping with the head.

While I can see why the vids are cool, it would a shame that someone blows his skull out to make a movie to impress us.

Me and my mouth

You know d.bala

Its not about the bother, but about making sure you guys get to shoot more vids and have fun.

IMHO I think we have a responisbility and we surely do not want to give the wrong impression to any member here on the board.

Just be careful

Don't take it personally....we all get a bit lax at times....those that claim they have never had a lapse of 'safety sense' are full of ####..heh... time and experience tends to breed a non-chalant (spelling?) attitude...

ya know these were made and posted just for the fun of it and if I knew that it would cause all this bother I wouldnt have.

Takes all kinds Darrin, best to ignore them, at least I do now. Cool vids, lemme know when you guys go out next time! Hopefully my gun will be in!

echo4lima,

While I agree we are all lax sometimes. However there is a difference in making an error and showboating. #### apart I guess you can tell the difference , right.

We all showboat too....especially after outshooting another shooter......
