Took my T/C .45 Patriot out to the range today to try out new patch/ball combos.I increased the ball size from .440" to .445" Bingo :D shot a cloverleaf at 25 yds.
I have been toying with the idea of buying one of these from The Gunworks

$550 USD (94 cent dollar :) )
Also considered the Pedersoli Le Page, but they are $900.
Have to do some more thinking on that, anyone have or shot a Le Page ?

I used a TC Patriot for years in BP pistol comptetion and at rendevous's.
It is without a doubt the most accurate percussion pistol produced. The pistol I had shot the first perfect score at a rendevous that stood as a record nearly to this day, for shoots in AB, BC, SK and Montana. At the Havre BP shoot the same pistol shot a 99-6 X setting a record for that shoot as well, then it shot a 97-5X in the Montana State territorial Championships the following year, and was invitied to represent Montana in Friendship Indiana at the US Nationals...it was afraid to fly so did not attend.
After using the TC all others paled in comparison.

Thanks Wade, I'll be sure to watch for Neil, any idea what Taylor charges for a pistol these days ?

Nice shooting Alonzo, I can't shoot that good off the bench !
I really like the way they hold, I find some pistols want to roll out of your hand, or the grip is too short.
I removed the Varathane finish from mine and tung oiled it, made it go pretty dark. The previous owner filed the trigger making the pull about 1oz :eek:
so I don't normally let anyone else shoot it.
