Pistol stabilizer

Reminds me of the stock kits that turned lugers and mausers into carbines. All you'de need would be a long slide .45 heh.

I really don't see the point though it's a nifty toy.

If I am not mistaken there is also a conversion kit, from these guys, for the Glock, to make your pistol into a carbine with a 12" barrel.

I just remembered where I'd seen something like this before. On the Man From U.N.C.L.E. - Napoleon Solo's (Robert Vaughn) pistol had a set of attachments that turned it into a carbine.

They even made a toy version (back when kids were allowed to play with toy guns that actually resembled a gun).

Neat toy, useless as a tool. If you need a pistol calibre shoulder controlled firearm, get a subgun, that's what they're designed for.

I wouldn't say it's useless. It would definitely help controlling recoil for quick follow-up shots. Not to mention the price difference between a handgun with this stock and subgun (BSR/TP9/9MM AR etc) is quite significant.

both are legal, finding someone to import them is the issue. .

a member posted videos and pics of his HERA glock a few weeks ago.

Yeah and that makes it legal how????

They may be legal in Canada.. but how are they classed in the US and do they have the right permits..

I think the member had it imported from Germany. I am only assuming he had the right permits, is the stock illegal?

The stock itself may be I don't know... But just becuase someone has one doesn't make it legal..

Is an EOTECH 553 legal to own at one point they were not exportable... That may have changed... But people had them even when they were not exportable... Legal to own in Canada yes.. Legal to export from the US... No...

I believe (but I don't know) they are legal to own in Canada but since turn-key is in the US and they have some funny rules on gun things these may or may not be legal to export...

cool, ok but can someone build one for there own pistol in canada?

I don't remember seeing anything like that on the prohibited modifications list in the course. And not being what you would call a permanent add on that requires tools to install I can't see it as changing the classification of the restricted in any sort of way.

I suppose it would be nice to play with if I wanted to make one but to pay around 1/2 the cost of a new pistol for a simple tinker toy stock? I don' thin' so Babalooey..... I LIKE my restricted as handguns. I don't see the need to spend a whole lot of ammo money on a Mecano set like shoulder stock for one of them.

i wasnt too sure if it would change the class to a prohibited type of pistol, but i suppose it would be if a front grip was installed instead.
