Would this work?

Pistols unloaded, trigger locked, in their case from manufacturer - locked. Stored away in a locked cabinet in my kitchen. No gun safes used.

Or could you guys recommend some larger storage gun safes? Would only be used for 3 pistols max.

Most cases that comes from manafactures, won't fit with a trigger lock installed. Why not just lock it, put it in a gun sock and then in the locked cabinet?

If it is marked as a safe, even if it is only on the sales slip which you will photocopy and leave a copy in the safe under the little mat, I think a Restricted can be stored in it unloaded, Period.

There is no definition in C-68 of what defines a "safe".

Locked in a safe (no trigger lock required) satisfies legal requirements.

A "safe" is any product marketed as a safe.

It would be best to bolt that box to the wall (to a stud) so that it cannot be easily carried away. There should be holes in the back surface for this purpose.
