When I had contact CRAFM about the Orange 2012 they told me the Canadian Edition is the same pistol. Not exactly sure to be honest as I still learning about the shadow. Also when I talked to CRAFM about the tuned trigger, he had said they do it in house and its not as good as the stock one they sell for $1400. Not sure if it was just a translation into english issue or not but that kind of scared me some.
I am leaning towards the stock shadow as it is cheaper and this way I can also purchase a holster and such.
Honestly All I've done to mine is this:
Stock shadow w/ 3 mags $830 out the door
13lb main spring ~$10
11lb recoil spring ~$10
So $850 total
CZ slim alum grips --- got a great deal used on mine otherwise I wouldn't have even bothered with them, but I figured I may as well try them out and see what the hype is about!
It's race ready in my opinion. No need for all the extra bits and such unless you want them. the more junk you do to your gun the more likely it is to fail. that goes for any gun.
Get a stock one and start shooting! Also send Sean at Freedmom ventures a message and he'll set you up with tanfolgio mags. they work 100% in the shadow and are about $10 each cheaper than CZ mags.
Bladetech DOH holster seems to be the holster of choice for most guys. I have a CR speed because again, I got a great deal on it used.
As for mag pouches Uncle mikes work ok, CRspeed are great, but for half the price you can order the airsoft knockoff CR pouches off ebay and they work just as good at the "real" thing.
If you want a dual velcro belt Shooters Gear make nice ones and they are canadian, or CR or DAA both work great as well.
This is just my opinion on things I'm sure others will come around and give you their bits of advice too!
