Pistols in Ottawa

I stopped by the Stittsville Range today to pick up some ammo and I asked if they also sold Pistols, expecting the same old answer you get in Ottawa. To my absolute surprise....They do! Of course this is probably old news to some in the Ottawa area, but new to me. Anyway, I just picked up an M&P 9 from Epps, for what I think was a great price, and Stittsvile had them a little cheaper! Of course, they are sold out of the 9mm (hope to get more), but they have the M&P 40 range and carry for the same price.... $649. They also have a few CZs and Sigs.

Just thought I would pass it on.
 
I've been to that range a dozen times and had no idea. Did they have much in the way of revolvers as far as you saw? Or 1911s for that matter?

sports action on st. Laurent has some also. at least the day I was in there he was showing a glock that was for sale. you may have to ask to see them as I never see any in the display case.
 
They seem to keep them in the back under lock and key. I am not sure if they had any 1911's, but you could call and ask. They also seem to have lots of pistol ammo. The range is on my way home, so easier to stop there than LeBaron's or the East end.

Of ammo or Pistols? I only looked at the two CZs and the MP40, but they had others. I think the guy mentioned they stock Brownings....

Their shelf's are always full of different ammo, and is the only place I have been to that has SB x54r and x39 in stock.
 
FYI guys, there is a hunting store in Gatineau, they sell pistols/revolvers/ammo/rifles/bows/gears/etc...... :

They have new and used there at Stittsville, but you have to ask what's in stock as they don't have any display cases for pistols. Good prices, good people there too.
 
They can order anything you want. The only down side is that they do not have a stock so you might have to wait for certain things.

It is my home range.

They really need to revamp their website. Biggest obstacle they have in front of them to become known around as selling other items then hunting gear.
 
I've been to Sports Action a few times they do have handguns but its locked in a case in the back. They can order most handguns not sure sure from where but I did a book from North Sylva.

I'm not sure if you guys heard the news that Bass pro shops is coming to Ottawa in 2015 :)
