pistols like Glock MOS and M&P Core w/RDS

The Leupold DeltaPoint has been replaced by the DeltaPoint Pro.
Adjustments on the DP are made with a tiny Torx Wrench. The W & E adjustment screws are secured with lock screws on the rear of the sight. Note the space between the CORE rear sight and the DP base. The standard Torx wrench supplied will not fit in that gap. It is necessary to alter a wrench to fit. Heat, bend, temper. The DP was not a recommended sight for the CORE because of this. A Pro's adjustments are different, so this is no longer an issue.

Nice set up bud!I went with Q5 because of the good review on its trigger but I had to give up the rear sight.

Darn you! Now I want a PPQ!

Factory M&P triggers leave something to be desired for sure. I put the Apex FSS & aluminum trigger kit in this one. As for the rear sight, I never end up using the iron sights anyway. This was my first pistol with a red dot and I always heard co-witness this, co-witness that, so I made sure I had a setup that allowed co-witnessing. But to be honest, I don't get the importance and I personally could live without it.

That is a pain in the a** for sure. I have to give props to Leupold though. Once you have it zeroed, it stays zeroed. I have even had the unit off a couple of times. Re-torque it back to factory specs when putting it back on and it is still zeroed.

As I mentioned, I never co-witness with my CORE/DP. The great advantage of a RDS is that no sight alignment is required. An improvement over aligning front and rear sights... Why add a third? Having the irons there as a backup in the event of an electronic failure is good.
As has been said, "An electronic device is in one of two states - it has either just let you down, or is about to".

Removing the sight to loosen and tighten the locking screws is an awkward option.

adjusting my DP was no issue.
put it on, checked it, dialed it in, locked it down, have never had a issue with it.

i suppose if you where having a issue getting it to where you wanted it and had to take on and off 30 times it would be a pain.
