Pistols Suck! Get over it.

Very interesting. Makes sense. If im arriving at a Gun fight im going to want the better gun. But in hindsight, aren't most gun fights over in a matter of seconds? Is a pistol faster? And he keeps bringing up reliability and effectiveness. A 10mm Glock or Big-bore revolver are arguably more reliable than an AR platform and have some pretty damn good knockdown power.
 
Reliability in the ar or any firearm for that matter has a lot to do with the user. The myth about the ar has long debunked. knockdown power is a myth. Shot placement is the most important factor.

Personally I don't care about the tools for sport use. The discussion in the video and the only point that matters is personal defense. With that regard a rifle trumps shotgun and a shotgun trumps pistol. Agent law has it figured out and explains it very clearly.

Pistols don't 'suck'...they just aren't the best tool for every situation. OTOH, they are the ones you can carry with you all the time [given rational laws and law enforcement].

Nobody wakes up in the morning _knowing_ they are going to be in a gunfight...unless they plan to start one.

Holy obvious. Pistols are used when your rifle stops functioning or to fight your way to a rifle. But if in your civilian life you are venturing where you NEED a rifle then perhaps you might want to take a different way to work.
