so far I have the following:
- Browning 1911-22-A1
- Smith & Wesson M&P 22
- Ruger Mark III Target (going to sell, to big for my hands)
- Ruger 22/45 Lite

right now, the only other pistol I have as must on my list for .22LR is the Ruger SP101.

what else should I be considering? I probably will get a Buckmark, but I chose Ruger over it as a platform due to Ruger's easier take down and disassembly.

I thought the Buck Mark was the one that was easier to take down and disassemble. That's what prompted me to chose the Browning over the Ruger.

+1 And Browning does not recommend much of any take down for cleaning the action area and barrel gets a wipe and that's about it

Get list

You have a really nice bunch of rimfires but not a centerfire.
I dont see much point in a buckmark if you like the 22/45.
I also have small hands and have a 4.2" GP100 and found a set of pachmayer compact grips for a perfect fit.
The price of rimfire these days i make 38s for the same as a 50 box of 22s with a lee turret press.
Or if you like the S&W m&p why not a 9mm?
If you want to stick with rimfire a single six convertable to 22 mag would be different. Or if you want something really nice that wont need a spring kit with accuracy and a great pull out of the box get a s&w 617 which would be my choice over the sp101.

Take a look at the Volqurtsen .22 line-up. I don't have one, but I have been reading a lot of good feedback about them
