I HAD to stop by Wholesale yesterday, turns out the one guy who actually knew what he was talking about has left(with some of the wholesale stock) to work @ Canadian tire. If you are planning on going to the guncounter today I would take a chair and a lunch!

Do you mean Dana? He was good for a chuckle. Told me that I couldn't shoot any cast bullets in my .44 Mag above 1000fps because leading would occur

Dana has enough knowledge to make him dangerous and thats about where it ends. I once had him recommend grinding my ffg powder through door screen to make ffffg when they where out of stock. I couldn't help but laugh out loud as I turned and walked away; I burnt myself with black once, it isn't gonna happen again on the advise of a half witted know-it-all clerk. Too bad for Canucky Tire, But new people for his 200yds handgun stories (golfball size groups, golfball).

Say it isn't so! Actually he contradicted himself last time we spoke but he WAS the best they had to offer.

I hope your joking:eek:. I know of two people at least in that store that are very knowledgable, and very adept with firearms theirs use. The problem is that they aren't very 'customer service' oriented. And that doesn't help.

I never met them, unless you mean that little left over turd from the disco era with a bad attitude and bad teeth. Actually, they could all be freeking brilliant for all I know; I never went there looking for gun counter advice just service and Dana always made a real effort to not find what I was asking for.

I would enjoy his stories about shooting cowboy action with a 10.5" SBH from a hip holster. And showing off his playing cards with bullets holes in them.
