I have just recieved a EOTech XPS2-2 and am wondering if the sight I recieved is defective. I have a very pixelated image of the outer ring and inner two dots. I have tried to turn the sight brightness down but it only helps when the ring is barely visible(too dim to use). I focus on the target and not the ring and this did not help. Taking it out to the range this weekend and wondered if anyone else had this problem? It looks like a ring of fuzzy dots and the two dots in the center are blending together. I am near sighted and do wear glasses to correct this. Any help?

Could be an astigmatism. I find EOTech's to be pixel-ey as well, however not to the point of them blending together at all.
I did have the girlfriend try use the site as well and she also said the outer ring was like a lot of smaller dots in a circle. Do you think the EOTech is at fault or my vision is slightly impaired? Just wondering if a different system would be more clear(T1 as another option) Please note that I do like the wide view of the EOTech and the ring with a dot better.

All EoTechs are like that. The circle isn't solid - it's made up of many dots.
Thanks! I was not sure as my Bushnell Trophy on my 10/22 Krink was a "solid" ring with a dot and not as "Fuzzy". Was just worried that the EOTech may have been slightly defective. Will try post a report after the range time on sunday. Will be interesting to see at what range the second dot works with 55gr in a 11.5" Barrel.

Had a day at the range and it works great at close ranges. No noticable pixelation at 50 yards. The 1MOA dot did show a lot of pixels when I focus on it when trying to do a 300yard sight in but if I focused on the target at closer ranges it was working good. Went high speed on steel plate offhand at 50yards and it was very Nice! Will try spend more time on this new system and I hope things get better yet!
