PK-01V red dot

Ok, I've finally finished this project.

This is the red dot sight that originally designed for an AK with the newer mounts like this:

So to make it work with ours CZs some filing and dremel work needs to be done.

It sits pretty good and I hope it will hold zero as good as it looks. I don't see any reasons why not actually.

Most of the russian stuff is like 1moa .. terribly hard to see but quite precise.

makes you wonder why its so hard for american manufacturers to make a 2-3 moa RDS for a reasonable price

I know the russian sights have low Hz so the dot 'blinks' how easy is it to see and acquire quickly?

I have a PDK-23 and it is very easy for your eye's to pick up. IMO it is easier to acquire than a solid red dot.

This one doesn"t blink, just like Aimpoint micro.

I am thinking about taking off NEA lower guard and install stock one. This rail piece at the front really bugs me.

Hand placement. Plus, it's getting extremely hot being a metal.

Just Google them they are not sponsors here. Mind you, they are located in MOntreal, but shipping from Belarus, average delivery time is about 2 weeks. User manual is in Russian, but nothing really is in there that average gun nut cannot figure out by himself

I know these sights come in two different versions. Ak and something else. Its been said on here that the AK will fit the mount that is on the CSA rifle. Do you have to modify the mount with all the AK red dots?

The red dot I ordered came with a universal AK style mount and it fit the side mount on the CSA no prob.

I used a standard AK mount on mine too, with no issues. Seemed to fit like it was made for the VZ's.
