Actually, I've had issues with mine. I had to dremel out the grove on my original mount so it can accept locking mechanism on this mount.

I'm thinking there is different models then. I wondered about that picture too. I just thought you added a different rail. Closer inspection reveals that it was a mod. Good clean job though.

id64, I think you have a great set-up there. In fact, I think it's so good that I'm considering doing the same thing to our CSA VZ58 non-restricted.

I have a few questions about your set-up.

1. Does the rifle seem heavy after adding the mount and sight?

2. About how far does the sight poke out in front of the dust cover, and do any ejected cases hit any part of the sight?

3. Do you find the field of view to be acceptable, and, if you know, how does it compare with say a Bushnell TRS 25 or Aimpoint Pro?

4. Did the price of the sight include shipping and, if not, how much was shipping?
