Hey folks
I just ordered a Pietta 1st Gen 4.75" in .357 from Marstar (thoughts on them? I'm excited)

I want to pick up a black leather western style holster for it, and i'd ideally like to check them out first in person.

Does anyone know of a place in Toronto that carries them? Central Surplus or Giovanni's perhaps? somewhere else?

it doesn't have to be incredibly high quality, just solid.

Thanks for any thoughts!

Don't know about a place that you can actualy hanle the stuff first but if you check out Larouche Leather he can make what ever you want and has lots of stuff on his photo gallery to get an idea of what you want. He did a fantastic job on my set and at a reasonable rate for custom built stuff and fast. Most custom places want 3-4 months lead time or more, I got my stuff from Joe in about a week. Just google Laroche Leathers oh ya I forgot to mention that he is in canada as well, Gatineau to be exact so depending where you are in Ontario you might be able to go and check out some of his stuff first hand.

I have two Piettas. The one I use in cowboy shooting is 357 nickel second generation and has worked well. Darkinternational did some trigger work and it is smooth. The other one is a 45 colt 7.5 in first generation. I use it just for plinking. It has woked well. The screw all ways came loose, the one that holds the rod for the cylinder, So i put some locktight on it . The finish has held up. My home rolls are light. I don't shoot anything hot through them. I wouldn't recommend it. They shoot low, but that could be me. I'm very happy with them. I'm sure you will be to.
