Place to shoot by Lloydminster

In January I'm moving to Lloydminster for 8 months and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to go shooting around there. I'm new to the shotgun sports, but I'd like to get into sporting clays.

i know they have a skeet range a few miles south of Lloyd, but i'm not sure when its open or anything. You could check with Brian @ Shep's Sports. I know he used to be right into it when i lived there, he probably still is!
 
Hidden ridge. It seems to rain every time I go, but targets are normally good. If you have a strong liver look up "fast Eddie bowman" when you get there. One of the best sporting clay guys in the area. Www.cnsca.ca should get you club details.
 
You have three choices...
1. Lloydminster Gun Club - Trap and Skeet - three trap fields with Canterbury Voice and Pat traps. One skeet field. Currently closed for the season. Too damn cold. Contact Shep at Shep's Sports on 49th or PM me here. We will probably try to have a skeet shoot again if the weather smartens up a bit.
2. Hidden Ridge Sporting Clays - Not sure how much they will shoot in the snow. Again, call Shep.
3. LDFGA range - Need an LDFGA membership. Outdoor range to 300M, indoor archery range, and indoor pistol. Again, call Shep. Welcome to the Border City.
