Place to target shoot

Anyone have, or know of, a place in or around the GTA (or at most a 30 min drive from) where I can shoot targets and sight in my rifles/scopes.

P.S. Using the Ontario Atlas I found the nearest spot to be around Buckhorn area - But no way I'm prepared to drive that far away and hike through the wilderness just to fire off a couple of rounds.

Also there is nothing within maybe 1.5 hours of the gta.

About the closest place for you is Silverdale gun club, they are open to the public but only on Fri(?)-Sat-Sun.

Even if Silverdale was open, the chance of getting there in under an hour on a Saturday or Sunday if you decided to leave home at 10am onwards would be impossible with traffic now days. I bite the bullet and head to EESA which is close to 2 hours one way.

I have 100 acres about an hour NE of Toronto and I have a few friends who shoot there, open to discussion to add more shooters just need to barter some work in exchange. PM if interested.

Silverdale is no longer open to the public. Idiots ruined it for everyone. They jacked our prices from $300 to $500 a year and got rid of the walk ins

Last Fall when two idiots decided to take an SKS among other things and shoot up the shotgun paterning area resulting in a stray bullet landing at a neighbours

That must be a thing. Same thing happened at our Trap and Skeet club. Just damage though, no lingering issues.
