There's nothing to this gun, for arming a huge army like the PLA it's genius. Way back Rooster33 made a complete alloy trigger housinging for the SL8, before anyone made accessories for them...it's not going to be long for some enterprising machinist to turn this into a 21st Century gun. If it can be done with an AK, then it can be done here. I predict an extended ambi refit for the charging handle soon after the mag release...then the flood gates are gonna be open.

Yep same here...rebuilding mine with molded fiberglass ..should be a bit different (to change the shape a bit and add rails)
But yeah lil bit of play in them pieces :)
 
Seeing as how stoop14 has his S/N displayed so prominently, I'll ask if everyone's s/n starts with 13.
The one I fired today also started 13 (2013, I presume...), and was just over 1000.
(I'll make sure your s/n isnt posted in our video, Dave!)
 
Mine and my buddy's S/N start with 13. Both are in the 1000's (13001###)

I don't care about a charging handle solution so much as I want better optics mounting options. CNC'd flat-top-ish pic rail instead of this huge F-ing carry handle.
