Plastic Hunting License Holders

Every time I renew the plates on my car, I take the registration out of the holder and bring it in like that. They always give me a new holder for my new registration. Now I have a nice collection of plastic folders for hunting/fishing licences.

only 5 years ago hunting stores would give those for free with a license purchase

5 years ago the government supplied us with waterproof and tear proof plastic self adhesive tags. Now we have to print them off ourselves meaning 99.99% of us in Ontario are left searching for ways to keep regular printer paper protected from ourselves and the elements. Kinda annoying.

Ziploc is my backup, but I have a stash of everyday things that I keep to repurpose as tag holders. Here’s my late-season buck tag (for crossbow in a few days) in 3 random holders.

Top to bottom: cell phone waterproof bag, retail parts bag, hard plastic packaging for my wife’s cell phone screen protector.

You don't get a licence in BC, do it online, you can print a receipt if you want one. Tags are wallet size, almost. The silly thing is fishing license is a full 8 x11 peace of paper.

Good zip lock sandwich bags with the double zip strip have been my go to for years, I also have a supply of the card holders that UFA gives out they work just fine also
