I run a belt with suspenders. At work it's a vest, because they make me

I was in a similar position in Jan, I went with a plate carrier as I wouldn't mind having plates later on. Also the guy at DS tactical talked me out of a belt, due to the fact that 5 rifle mags, 2 pistol, and a dump pouch will start to get heavy. I find my PC to be pretty comfortable (without plates so far), I run 2 double's on the chest and a single on the side, will be putting a dump pouch on the back of the cumberbund.
Thanks for that we sold over 1000 sets last year. Many to peace office.
While heavy. Getting shot is not on the bucket list not most people.
Trust me when I tell you it's not a goos time.
My self I run a plate carrier and battle belt
Try tying a Safeway bag to the back of your cummerbund first and make sure you can reach it to toss a mag in. Without knowing what carrier you are running, short of a US mariner it will likely ride too high on your back to toss a mag in easily. Just a piece of advice as I have tried with a PIG carrier and it was near impossible to get it in there never mind for a speed change. One of the main reasons I run a Gun fighter belt along with my rig, lol but yes if you are running and dump 8 mags in it, it may drop your pants (don't ask me how I know that).
DS tactical guys know their stuff been buying from them for years.
Mayflower APC, your probably right It's a bit high in the back when properly adjusted (below the V by throat, and below bump on back).
I really want to find the properly cut soft armour for the PC, 911supply lists it but out of stock. Some ceramic plates are on the list too, but probably not any time soon.
I find my belt rides up not down.
I like the fact the suspenders keep it where they belong, honestly the battle belt with suspenders is just a modern version of the old webbing
so you the guy eh ? do you have police officers that run them all the time or just stuff them in the trunk for active shooter situations?
Police officers are not soilders so , no they just have them for active shooter situations.
When we started this project 2yrs ago, i was very supprised at the amount of officers they do not have a set of hard plates in the car.
Some rcmp offices in the far north have had requests in for more then 2,3yrs.
Have been told "budget" but at almost $1000 for a set ceramic plates, many of the smart ones just go out and buy them themselfs. outs range $300-400 and you can drop them.
bbb
Bought my set from you guys for this reason...
Ceramic plates are good too... But being passed around and seeing people throwing them in the trunk or dropping them on the floor made me wanted my own set.
LVL4 plates = peace of mind
