I have looked all over the site and can't seem to find anyone that stocks .44 mag plated bullets in bulk. Lots of hollowpoint hunting-man-moose-truck stoppers. Just want some economy paper punchers. Yes I cast lead bullets but want to load up a little without having to de-lead barrels for hours.

I get my plated 44 bullet from Al Simmons, they are in Hamilton, Ontario. They are not a site sponsor though. They carry Cam-Pro bullets in 44cal in 240grains.

Picked up a bunch of plated 240gr from P&D in Edmonton. Way cheaper than jacketed stuff.

Use them for plinking loads with way less smoke than hard-cast lead.

However, I think they are a tad undersized for my revolver (0.429 vs. 0.430) and look like they are tumbling.

Will up the charge and see if that changes.

matstar has frontiers 200, 240, and 300gr 44 cal bullets all in stock, i recently ordered some of there bullets for my 357 and there unbeleivably accurate in comparison to other brands i've tried, but i've also heard a lot of good about berrys bullets if you can find them in the caliber you want

"...without having to de-lead barrels..." Leading is caused by driving a cast bullet too fast. Use the right data.
"...that stocks .44 mag plated bullets..." Marstar lists Frontier CMJ's. $136 for 200 grains, $142 for 245's and $158 for 300's per 1,000. Buy components locally though. The shipping will hurt.
