so i used AIM bullets last year but the weights were all over the place, i know on their site they claim to have taken steps to remedy this but does anyone have experience with their current batches? As an alternative how do Berrys, Campro and Frontier compare to Aim in terms of hardness and plating thickness?

Do we finally have a Berrys dealer in Ontario yet!?

(in Quebec would be even better but I know there are far more shooters in Ontario ;))

while attending a couple of matches in Montreal area I picked up Bullets at CRAFM , Campro & Zero JHP if you buy bullets and have to have them shipped well the Zero jhp at CRAFM are cheaper there than plated , a no brainer of a choice

I just received 1,000 AIM 158 gr bullets for .38spl. I weighed a random batch of 10 bullets. All fell within 1/10th of a grain of 154 grains. A second batch of 10 were measured for diameter and all measured .3575. I examined bullets out of my bullet trap and there was some bullets where the rifling tore through the side of the plating. I am not sure if this is a feature of all plated bullets or just this batch of AiM bullets. I intend to test for accuracy this week.

If you can find Zero bullets they are about the same price as plated Berry's or Aim's and they are tack drivers...I will use nothing but Zero from now on... The only thing that would sway me away would be a local dealer for Berry's to avoid freight charges...Even then I would still use only Zero for competition shooting and plated bullets for practice...
 
Been using AIM in my 38 Super. They work but I've been getting a lot of keyholing. I'm assuming 1400 f/s +- is a tad hot for em. I've laid in a supply of BDX 38 super which I expect will be a fix.
