Plating M213

They could most likely do it, be interesting to see. Be an even more interesting ATT call to the CFO ;)

So far the only thing I've seen is guys using it for Bluing Practice, it certainly is the kind of price point that encourages projects.

Might be nice to do it in satin hard chrome too. There was that guy that did the chrome CZ a couple of months back with the thread here. If your slide clearances are anything like my two the slight chrome build up wouldn't hurt anything at all.

Either way it's safe to say that you'd double your investment price... :D

My thoughts are if I bring over JUST the pieces I want plated.... Do I still need to call CFO? I'm guessing yes... But the firearm would be rendered inoperable, so maybe not...

I know.... you cant polish a turd.... But I think it would be a fun project.

So I called the CFO...

Good news... you can get an ATT if you hang out while they do the plating if they are not a licensed gunsmith.

As stated above, no ATT needed if all you plate is the slide

You're in BC, that explains the common sense, so long as the guy can do the plating while you wait, and doesn't need it left over for a time. I'd love to see a Bantarian or Quebecois try to ask their CFO the same question.

So are you going to go ahead and do it? We will, of course, require pictures :)
