Hey guys. After much research and endless YouTube videos, i decided to order one of the Primary Arms 4-14x44 ACSS HUD 308 scopes. No one really has anything bad to say about them, other than the word china being stamped on the bottom.
Everything seems to be fine, including good turret clicks. I love the scope. However, the zoom ring has a fine amount of play in it. Probably 1/16" to either side before zoom is engaged. There is also a small amount of play fore and aft about 1/32". Anyone have these scopes? I emailed both ctc supplies where i bought it as well as PA directly. Sounds like i may be eligible for replacement, but at the same time if it holds zoom under firing, could just be a side effect of that word china.
