Playing with Kydex. LAR mag pouch.

I got bit by the Kydex bug. I decided to try and make a pouch for LAR mags. This was my first attempt, and I was rushing, but I'm really please with my results so far. I got the kydex from a local plastic supplier. I got 12 sheets of cut offs for a case of beer.

The retention is really solid, and it also works with GI mags.

Cool. Those belt loops don't go all the way around the belt do they? How's the retention? Is the pouch going to come up off your belt when you pull the mag out?

Could use some polishing, but looks good.

Very good retention, the belt loops are really solid and the mag clicks into place. The kydex is .093 so it's stronger than it looks.
