Playing with one of my SKS rifles and the craziest thing just happened...

I have similar story. Years ago bought polish eagle Radom Vis and then maybe year ago guy was selling barrel for Vis. Now i have 2 barrels polish and german with the same serial number.

Extremely odd because if the factory refurbished a rifle they replaced those parts because they were in need of being replaced. Vladimir wasnt just mixing up rifle parts for fun.

I'm wondering if they were shipped/imported disassembled? Or somewhere along the line a group of rifles had the trigger, mag, and stock removed and no care was taken when putting them back together?

Canada ammo, January 2015. I believe it was an ammo/rifle combo deal.

no, they would be assembled and boxed, ready to go when they arrived. im thinking the only way the trigger could have been swapped is before refurb, when two buddies cleaning them and mistakenly grabbed the wrong one but... they havent used regular sks for many decades so imagine that, after all that time the trigger came back to where it belongs, united at last.... sniff sniff.

mags are different story bcos it had to be removed for pinning. they removed and pinned them like an assembly line.

Yeah, not sure why I didn’t think of that. Kind of forgot about the pinning process. That’s probably where it happened. Trigger group out, mag out and pinned. Then a little mix up. Plausible. Probably was wearing this stock at the time too.
