I live in the GTA and have always had an interest in handguns, however I never got the chance to fire one until last year in Vegas. Since then, I've attended a few of the Target Sports Canada open houses (S&W and Glock days) and am currently scarping enough money together to get my PAL and a nice enough set up for storage, etc.

Welcome jlagman! Target Sports is a great facility! I believe they offer a PAL/RPAL courses and testing. Its a lot of hoops to jump through, but with a little time and effort, you'll get there.
 
I did the same thing back in '98! Went to the Gun Store in Vegas and got the bug, came back and joined Target Sports too, altho it was USSR back then.

Enjoy the hobby, and the forum too. Lot's of good info here, and some bad stuff too :D
