Being Wood.adjustable Of Course.

I don't like to be negative but I don't think you or anyone else can build anything more solid or adjustable than a proper set up with leather bags and a solid bench rest. They will give you better accuracy than any cradle arrangement if used correctly.

An infinitely adjustable do-it-yourself solution, that is litterally "dirt cheap"!

use a 2x6 ,2x8 or something simular ,cut a large V notch on top to cradle foprestock,add some carpet[your choice of colour] to protect the forestock, use another piece of 2x6 as a base,nail er up.screws would be best.

I have some made out of some pant legs from a pair of old jeans, and the sand is inside a heavy zip lock.

They work great.
