Hello all. Can anyone point me in the direction of a business that has 8mm rem mag ammo or non-Nosler ( too pricey) brass in stock? I dont want to use my .375 brass for the 8mm. Any info would be appreciated.

Maybe you could try 340 or 300wby brass through the sizing die and then fireform. or 7mm stw if you can find that.

8mm Rem Mag has a case length of 67mm while 300 Win Mag is 72mm. Belt dimensions appear to be the same as well.
Reforming 300WM would seem the cheapest way to go as that brass is quite common and relatively inexpensive.

Not sure where your info came from but isnt the 300 weatherby brass too short? The 300 win mag isnt even in the ballpark. I found some Remington .375 brass so ill just run it through the die and fire-form it for the 8mm. Remington still lists 8mm mag brass I just cant find any dealers with access to any. If anyone knows of a cache of 8mm brass or factory loaded ammo Id still greatly appreciate any info.

Wow, the measurements were right but I got the cartridges backwards. 300WM is 67mm and 8mm RM is 72mm.
Just had a dyslexic moment.

300 Weatherby is 2.825" and 8mm RM is 2.850". Would work but would have a shorter neck. Not ideal though.

I think I saw some 416 rem. mag brass listed on Prophet Rivers site.... you could size that down, not sure on the brand.
