I used FrogLube, Mil issued CLP, and 5W30 for years. Now in my old age, I deliberately buy my TriFlow CLP from the Mtn Bike granola eaters at MEC in Barrie, just so I can remind them that the CLP (and their favorite Mtn Bike lube) was developed for artillery pieces and works well on machine guns.

I just cannot resist teasing the lefty boys and girls there!

Opposite for me. Used Ballistol exclusively at first, Now just use Froglube. Different strokes for different folks.

Ballistol. I, too, junked the snake oil (frog lube)

I use to be a die hard Froglube guy, but I have recently given up Froglube and have started using Ballistol and I'll never switch back.
