I can feel the difference immediately when norinco brass goes through the sizing die, I separate it and throw it in the garbage.
It doesn't go through the sizing die as nicely as NA brass and many are split after only one firing.
In my opinion it's junk and not worth reloading.
YMMV

I wish I could be as picky as cr5. He is right though, the brass has a different feel and some split after the first firing but it's more than good enough for practice.

CR5 just has a massive hate on anything from China. I wish instead of tossing them in the garbage, he'd send me a PM and I'll pay shipping for 'em. :)

Me on the other hand have never had any Norc 45 brass split on me and I don't have the sensitivity to feel the difference between Norc, Blazer, AE, RP, FC, IVI etc brass when resizing. I've shot reloads using Starline and freebee Norc brass and they both shoot just as crappy as the shooter. I've got some going on the 5th reload without issues. Some Norc brass seem to have a crimped primer pocket so I just set them aside and ream/swage them out.

I've got some on the third reload, no losses to splitting yet. Crunched one or two case mouths in the slide during load development, that's about it. Don't know what it is they prime the loaded ammo with, but the Norinco factory stuff has a real aroma to it.

No one seems to want to pick the stuff up so ive found lots lying around.I actually quite like it.The first reload or two i find the primer pockets a bit tight, especially with the russian primers, but after that they are fine.I havent noticed any premature splitting and have about 5 reloads through the.I mix them up with my NA brass and dont worry about it.

No problems with reloading for it yet. I generally save it and small primer pocket .45 brass to use in "Lost Brass" matches in the US, where you don't get your brass back during the match. They make you buy it back afterwards.
