How good are dlask barrels for the 10/22? What chamber did you get sporter bentz etc.? What size groups do you get at 50 yards? What barrel length did you get?

I am also interested in an aftermarket dlask barrel.
Curious if there's a big performance difference between barrel lengths and sporter/target chambers?

Was wondering about performance before I bought my 12.5" barrel. So I researched for days and found there is no real performance benefit for barrel length... just whatever look or use you want out of your rifle. I went for the 12.5" because I want a really accurate, bush friendly gun.
Stumbled on this link when I was doing my research. I believe "Wayupnorth" posted it. You will see performance gains/losses are almost flat in barrel length for the .22

Thanks for the link Bizzle!
Interesting how barrel length is directly proportional to muzzle velocity, yet accuracy remains relatively unchanged.
Do you have any information, or sources of information on target vs. sporter chambers?
Whether running target ammo through a sporter chambered barrel really makes that much of a difference when compared to running the same ammo through a target chambered barrel?

I have had green mountain, volquartsen and now Kidd barrels and I ordered a 8" dlask 10/22 barrel for a short barreled rifle project and I was worried about velocity loss. Not really! Can't really tell any different and sounds louder too! Seems t be very accurate so far and I wanna try it paper yet to see for myself how accurate it is. Sported chamber on men seems to have trouble feeding a round into the chamber at times. Al let seems like it's very snug/ or the feeding ramp isn't made properly. Maybe just needs to be worn in but not sure. Besides that one issue it looks to be a nice quality barrel made out of green mountain barrel blank I understand. My green mountain barrel was stupid accurate at 100 yds. 1/4" group my buddy and I could hardly grasp what we saw. Sounds fake I know I agree. If dlask is your only option I wouldn't hesitate. If you CAN find a different brand barrel in Canada somewhere else then I would choose it over dlask. Dlask is my last resort for an upgrade barrel from factory

I've had 3 Dlask barrels, all three had loose receiver fit, about same as factory barrel fit, Benz chamber shot much better, sporter shot about same as factory barrel.

Green Mountain has nice tight receiver fit.

Update: Purchased another Dlask January 2018, this one measures same as Green Mountain, very nice tight receiver fit.

I measured the barrel shanks, factory .786", Green Mountain & New Dlask .788"

I have the Dlask 11 inch barrel with Sportster chamber on my 10/22. I am not a good enough shot to speak to accuracy, but I can say it feeds perfectly and the fit was good. I am happy.

After a quick search I saw this latest thread. It appears that "wayupnorth" doesn't notice much difference.

In doing weeks worth of research the common theme is if you want bench rest competition accuracy then go with target (or even the extreme chamber which is request only at Dlask I believe).
If you want an accurate shooter you can use any ammo and take anywhere then get the sporter chamber.
This is based solely using "google fu" of course.
