No fears guys, that's what discussions are about. I have been promoting well at Orono. I have a little list of interested people who were going to come out to a "display" I was going to have back in October or November. It got rained out. I was borrowing all the gear and range officers from other clubs. So I was kind of depending on them to reschedule my events. I decided that was not fair to ask of them. So I decided to S**t or get off the pot. That is why I am building/buying all the targets, tables etc.. that is needed, then I can schedule and run the thing when ever I can get dates.

There are people who are going to come from a few of the other CAS clubs, to participate and will be more than happy to lend a hand until I get some more SASS RO's at Orono. It is on the Orono site now, with my new email for it. Around mid March, I am going to put this event on the Canadian Cowboy Confederacy. I will still need people to email me for an invite etc.. so I can make sure not too many show up. Since this is the first event of its kind in the area in a while, I need to keep reins on it. But I am hoping for a fun day. Once I get things going, I will likely do a website for that section.

Just a note to say things are all looking good for the April 17th match. A bunch of the Barrie RO's and some of the new Peterborough R.O.'s are going to be there to help out and have some fun. The IDPA and PPC guys at Orono have been very helpful with getting things along. Just finished making most of the gear. I'm killing myself with paint fumes getting all my long gun racks and staging tables painted up and looking spiffy (even though they will get scratched the first time I move them). Now I just need to come up with a theme for the stages. I shot a Riverboat (cards) themed match last night and it was good, my best score to date. I'm thinking of a Good, Bad & Ugly theme. We'll see. PM me for any info.
