i always do lol. guys at the range keep laughing at me cuz my guns are always so chiney and clean. then when their gun break and i keep firing they stop laughing lol

Congrats on the buy. CanadaAmmo is selling the cheapest mags, I think. Especially their 10 pack (if you need more than 6).

The stuff on EE seemed to be equal to or more than what I could buy straight from the dealers so I went that route. I know some are described as little to no wear/NIB/etc, but why go private and lose the dealer support? Buying from the dealers on a small price gap also helps encourage them to order more stuff and bring in new stuff. The Valtro PM5 may have this problem. If they're not buying from you, why go through the import hassle...

no worries. if it was a smal price gap i would have gone new but it was by a few hundred dollars. i'm not made of money and saveing 150-200 is alot of money to me. thats a lot of extra ammo lol.
 
I can load 8 shells and fire 2 rounds in 7.5 seconds with my Mossberg......I have yet to meet a mag fed shooter that can beat that time. What I am trying to say, is you need to practice reloading! The unloading and loading sequence of the current mag fed shotguns, suck balls! IMHO..........
 
well it's cheap enough i can try it out if i hate it i'm sure there is somone who can buy it off me. i'm a fan of box mags so thats the way i'm gonna go. i will still keep my 870 for a backup anyways.

With practise I can load my box mag feed Valtro with 7+1 and fire 2 shots in half that time. there is a reason why valtro's win and beat tube feed times by half. and the action is beyond smooth and really really fast in the right hands.

Simple fact is a mag feed shotgun of high quality will beat a tube feed gun in relaoding time every time no amount of mall ninja arguring will prove diffrent.

but it come with a big price tag$$$$$$$$$

I'm about 1 second per shell using this method. Not good, but not that terrible :)

I like tube mags because you can always top them up.

I'm with 7.62mm, practice practice :)

You can do that in 3.75 seconds huh? I'd like to see a video of that please or it didn't happen!! ;)
 
that's a great video. as i said before they both have their places but i'm still of teh mind i want a mag fed and will get one hopefully with enough time to practice for my next 3 gun match
 
I wouldn't mind seeing a vid as well.........the AK style Mag change is anything but fast!

And to be clear, I am shooting at targets 10 or so yards away, separated by 5 yards, and hitting both of them......just thought I would mention that.....being that I am aiming, shooting, reloading 8 shells, and re-aiming, shooting a second target, and hitting both targets....I can consistently do that in 7.5 seconds.......yes I can do it faster.......not with any consistency though...
