Hey Guys,

I was just at my local wholesale sports and I came across a used Mossberg 935 12 ga. that they are asking $425 for. It looks like it is in pretty good shape. Has anyone owned/used one that could let me know their thoughts on the gun and if the price is reasonable.

Cheers,

Cheers,
I purchased a 935 Turkey 3 years ago. At the time I paid $750+ for it. Everything else I looked at was $1200 and up. I love it, although I don't fire alot of shells through it. I only use it for turkey and it is deadly on toms. Keep in mind you can't use 2 3/4inch shells in it ( even says so in manual ) You didn't say if it was camo or not but you can buy a wetlands camo for around $625 new. A good buddy of mine has a 930 and has zero problems after thousands of shots. Hope I helped good luck.

I have one specifically for waterfowl. Its been trouble free but imho is too heavy for an upland gun even though mine cycles 23/4" shells which many apparently do not.

Just got one a little while ago. Haven't had much chance to use it yet. Love the way it shoulders. I got mine $100 off and it was still $500 bucks so that's a real good price provided it works well.

I suspect that once I fire a few hundred shells through it, it will cycle heavier target loads as it already almost does it now.
