I have been using my 10 round pistol mags I bought from wolverine. Works great any gen3 pmag should work. The Gen2 ones just requiring a slight modification and they are fine too.

This.

I am running a mix of Gen2 5/30 PMAGs, 5/30 USGI, and LAR-15 mags. My observations:
- the USGI mag came with the Tavor, and works.
- the Gen2 PMAGs work great with minor modification. I needed to file down the rivet a bit to get it to insert. Also I needed to trim off the rounded part at the back of the mag which interfered with the Tavors bolt holdopen. PMAGs are cheap right now, I got mine for $17 new.
- the LAR mags are rough and ugly, but they work!

None of these mags drops free.
None of these mags can be inserted on a closed bolt when loaded to capacity.

I plan on trying some of the AT-15's, since they seem to offer the best of the PMAG and LAR combined. According to other posts on CGN, these can be inserted on a closed bolt even when loaded with 10 rounds, and they drop free....

I run 2 metal USGI mags, they drop free.
3 E-lander mag's from wolverine... file down the rivet a bit, also drops free..
1 Lar Pistol mag... "almost drops free.

they can lock in on a closed bolt, It just takes more force which is something i don't like to do.

E-landers have a great look and feel... super nice.

Here are the mags I have tested. Each has worked flawlessly: pinned 30/5

- USGI D&H
- Lancer L5 AWM
- PMag Gen 3
- CAA Beowulf

I use D&H from Saskgunworks. Rivet is done right although it's set for 5 not 5.5. Tethlon coated USGI mag. Works great and drops free in all my AR rifles, Tavor, and T97. Being able to use all my mags in my rifles that use AR mags is important to me.

I have a couple 10 round LAR mags as well. Except for the 10 rounds I like the D&H a lot better.
