Hi all,

Got all this stuff a while back in a ziplock baggy, need to know what it's worth if anything. Please let me know what some of these things are and if they are something that somebody would collect. The medal is named on the back with 1945. Thanks in advance!

The medal is a USN Good Conduct Medal, pre-1960 as the suspension was changed to a ring and loop style at that point, awarded for 3 years good conduct, on the authority of the ship's CO.
Worth $10 on a good day.
Cheers, Joe

The round badge over the medal is a US Army enlisted mans hat badge; there may be some differences depending on the era. You can buy them new for around 20 dollars.

The RCMP items at the top are the collar dogs (the RCMP crests) and the shoulder dogs for the epaulets on their tunic. Not sure of the price, but not worth a lot.

Can't really see the details on the other badges and buttons, but they have the Kings Crown on them which means they are from the time of King George's reign. Again, can't give you an idea of the price.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the replies, don't collect this stuff and would rather sell it all for a fair price to somebody who needs them. Would $20 for the lot be reasonable price to ask??

The grouping of buttons with the King's Crown, buffalo head and maple leaves are RCMP coat buttons. I apologize, but I do not know an approximate value.

The two Mountie cap badges (often seen on their hats) won't be worth much. Maybe a couple bucks, ebay would be a good place to do some price checking

The RCMP shoulder pins (not the correct name for them) will vary. Going from left to right: old but not worth much. Currently used so worth basically nothing. The bigger one is old-ish but probably not worth much. The farthest right one is fairly old might worth something but don't get your hopes up.

The Mountie buttons are king's crowns so they are old but they won't be worth much such they are just buttons. No idea what that pewter colour RCMP one is. Probably just a random pin with no real meaning but I could be wrong

that one button with a beaver on it is from a Royal Canadian Engineers uniform. It is a King's crown so it is old but I would surprised if its worth much. Again its just a button

That eagle looks like its off a USA military uniform. I could be wrong though. Value will be nothing. Unless you want to make a quick 25 cents

The RCCS one is cool. Its the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. Since it is a King's crown its very old. Like WW1 or WW2 old. But probably WW2 ish time frame This is where you can make some cash. I am not an expert on value of this stuff but I did find one on ebay for 150. Just to point the Queen's crown ones are worth like 20 bucks so pay attention if you are trying to sell it. But like anything don't get you hopes up. I am not knowledgeable on these prices. I just have some knowledge of what Canadian stuff is.

Glad someone knew what the medal was. I was cluesless
