Please help identify this holster

A friend picked this up for me at a surplus store a few years ago but I never did check into what the holster was meant to fit. I think it's time I got a gun to fit it, don't you?
If you could identify it, I would be grateful. Thanks.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you've got a Luger holster; the pouch at the front is for an extra magazine, while the internal ones are for a cleaning rod and the loading key.

Almost certainly a Luger holster, or for a P-38. The strap arrangement is not as common as some I've seen.

I will risk being embarrassed, I am pretty sure it for a Luger P08 pistol. Regards, Richard

These Gentlemen are correct it is for a P08, but more specifically, it is for the Portugese P08, and is quite difficult to find. Don't go selling that anytime soon! Take care and check out the link below! Congrats!

WOW! I just checked out the link. Thanks, Joe. If I didn't get a gun to fit it I was going to let it go for $30 or $40 bucks on the exchange. The next time I'm in Calgary I owe you a beer or whatever your preferred poison is.

No problem, my friend! There are alot who would like it, it's a nice holster. Ebay would be a good place as well, alot of serious P08 collectors find their holsters there too. Congrats once again!
