Remington Tyrant or crossman nitro venom???????????????? Both are .177 pellet break piston..............
 
If I knew any thing about these airguns I'd give you my opinion...

I do have a completely different model of Crossman: would never buy one again. The Crossman has weak aluminum metal, design issues and so forth: in an online review I have it 3.0 stars out of 5.0 possible.

I have heard Remington should stick to rifles: they are subcontracting out their airgun production to the same people that make the cheap knock-off pistols that look like antiques and such.

I know when given a choice between those two you don't wanna hear... how about a Benjamin? I know someone who loves theirs.

Buy German either RWS/Diana or Weihrauch HW.Don't be seduced by velocity claims as accuracy usually suffers and are very hold sensitive.The Chinese trade guns QC is all over the map. For hunting I'd take a .22 over a .177 at 700- 850 fps. I have a HW80K/.22 and anything under 25lbs live weight is dead.JSB Predators are the ticket............Harold
