Please Help with my Ruger mark III

I just picked up a Ruger Mark III and while taking the pistol apart to clean before taking it to the range, I've some how missed a step in putting it back together and now I need someone to HELP. After putting it back together, it won't #### or fire so now I can't dry fire it and remove any of the part to see what I did wrong. I live near Fernie B.C. and I don't know of any smiths around here. Any help would be VERY welcome.
 
Watch one of the videos on Youtube. The first time it took me an hour before I finally went F#@$@ it and watched the video. Took only a few minutes after that.
 
It's probably the hammer strut pin:

It goes into a plunger in the bolt stop assembly, tilting the firearm backwards when reinstalling the bolt stop assembly should help ensure this, you should feel spring tension. If you can't #### the bolt, the bolt stop assembly should be able to come out relatively easily.

Take the spring out. Point the barrel straight up in the air and pull the bolt back.

Happened to me every time I was in a hurry. If the barrel is pointing down when installing the spring you will trap the little lever arm attached to the hammer.
 
The Hammer Strut may not be seated on the mainspring, it has probably swung too far forward.
 
hey guys, super helpful stuff here! but the problem is i can take the lever that holds the pin that stops the bolt from coming out. i can unlock it and move it !/2" from the grip but i will not move after that. so i cant even see if the hammer strut is seated.
i think after i put it back together i missed something, but it went back together fine so i dont know. after putting it back together i tried to cycle the action but i dont think the hammer is being engaged so i cant dry fire it to do the tear down and the hammer is blocking that lever from swinging out.
when i get home tonight im going to take another stab at it. if an one lives around here and can give me a hand, the beers on me!!!

Just bought a 22/45 myself .. Do not have it yet , but have been watching all the vids ...

Hold gun grip down head high .. Keep lock out as far as you can , shake and align the arm ... Close lock and see if trigger cycles .. May take a few attempts ...

As i said no hands on .. but there was a vid I saw that addressed this situation .. Can't find the link ...
 
How far out does the lever swing? I had an issue with mine where the internal lock wasn't aligned with the restof the housing which was actually blocking the lever from swinging out more than a cm or so. Had to push all the pins out until the whole thing fell apart.
 
Thanks for all the help, i think you guys may have bailed me out. OK, so here's an update. i had to remove the pin that was holding the hammer in the frame, wiggled and waggled and got the thing taken apart. After getting it back together now its not cycling properly. it cocks and firers no problem, but as i pull the slide back it starts getting very stiff and binds like somethings not lined up right. I've taken apart several time looking for rub mark or something to tell me where its rubbing or grabbing . All i can come up with is, i think the hammer strut may have gotten bent while trying to get the gun apart. its got a slight half moon shape now and i think its suppose to have a curve on one side and be straight on the other but i don't have any frame of reference other then Brownells, but they only have the MK II hammer and i don't know if they are the same. i'm hoping someone might have some insight or maybe send me in the right direction or maybe if your feeling generous post a photo of your hammer strut!!!

Hope cellphone pics will do. The strut is curved slightly on 1 side and straight on the other. 2nd photo below shows the hammer at it's full forward position with the strut as far forward as it will rotate for reference.
