Hey guys, just wondering if anybody can give me an id/model of my B&L Scope.

It has very nice glass in it, super bright and clear. Made in Japan.

Looking for an aprox. value as well

Thanks!

Well it looks to me like a pre 3000 series in an Elite, value I'd estimate $125 to $150, a new one is $241.00, which will have much better lens coatings than the vintage piece you have. FS

Good scope .. well made and pretty reliable (probably better optics than Leupold of the period). After B&L ceased US production of scopes I believe Don Atkinson (?) designed an internally adjustable scope line with 4x power range variables (eg 1.5-6, and 2.5-10x) ... these were eventually produced in Japan ... (as yours is marked) and were/are darn good ... also much easier to adjust the power if you are hunting with gloves on etc. The 3-9X you have was a little less expensive than the other variables mentioned above .. but still very well made. Value is low on resale but they are a dandy scope if you can live with the weight etc.
(I think Fassteel's estimated value is probably bang on! Although $200 would be a good asking price - and the buyer wouldn't regret the purchase)
