Hi guys
I am thinking of buying a BHP from a guy who has just inherited it from his grandfather. I don't have the serial number on hand, but I was wondering if the BHP experts on this site would be able to ID it from the specs and markings that I can see in the original photo.
On the slide it says:
FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL BELGIQUE
BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE
I don't know when the Pachmayer grip was added (or whether it came like that), and from what I am told it was purchased at the earliest around 1980 or so.
Any ideas as to its approximate date of manufacture? And would I be correct to assume that this is a Belgian HP? Any other interesting points?
