I have a friend that owns a husquarva HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS AKTIEBOLAG 1941 it was only made in 1941 to 1943a Can some one tell me what this is worth I will try to get calibre and pics up a soon as I can thanxs

There were several different models/calibres of rifles made during that period that were marked as you described.

Need the chambering and s/n as well as pictures to determine which one it is.

Looks like you have a "sporterized" M/38. These were the military rifles. Husqvarna made them between 1941 to 1943, the Carl Gustav arsenal being too busy with automatic weapons to spend time on Mauser rifles. Basically, HVa made 83 578 M/38 rifles, the second biggest productionyear being 1941, with 28 672 rifles made.

The original caliber was 6.5X55 and the rifle you are contempling may well be a "revamped" Stiga or Vapen Depoten.

Post pictures of the rifle with stampings description (even better, pics) and we'll be able to tell you what it is.
